Town Council Meeting and Public Hearing

The Town of Prosper Town Council will meet and hold a public hearing on September 10, 2013 during their regularly scheduled meeting to consider the rezoning request of the 5.0+ acres adjacent to Stone Creek Prosper on the south side.  The property, owned by Mr. Phil Jobe, will be the site of additional buildings which will affect homeowners adjacent to the property.  At the Planning and Zoning meeting held on August 20th, Mr. Jobe agreed to provide additional landscaping, insure that water flow into Stone Creek would be minimalized, and building lighting (except the front entrances) would be turned off no later than 10 PM.  At a meeting held today with the Stone Creek Board of Directors, he agreed to provide additional screening for the areas most affected due to the elevation.  Homeowners are encouraged to attend the Town Council meeting to hear the plan in full, and to speak if they so desire.  Forms must be filled out prior to the meetings start for anyone that would like to address the council.  This public meeting will also cover the proposed budget for FY 2013 – 2014.
